BHDA’s Austin Office Earns ‘A’ in Diversity
The Austin office of Bickerstaff Heath Delgado Acosta LLP received an ‘A’ on the 2018 Austin Diversity Report Card. Issued every year since 2012, the report card is an evaluation of data based on the hiring, retention, and promotion of racial and ethnic minorities and women at major law firms in the area.
The Diversity Report Card Committee, which collected data from 30 of Austin’s largest law firms for the 2018 report card, is comprised of representatives from the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin, the Austin Black Lawyers Association, the Austin Asian American Bar Association, the South Asian Bar Association of Austin, the Austin LGBT Bar Association and the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association.
Everyone at Bickerstaff is very proud of this distinction,” said Emily Willms Rogers, the firm’s managing partner. “We have a strong background of supporting diversity at all levels in our legal practice and are proud to endorse a culture of inclusivity and respect.”
