BHDA Attorney to Present Paper on Municipal Green Bond Financing at IMLA Annual Conference

Gregory D. Miller, a public finance attorney with Bickerstaff Heath Delgado Acosta LLP, will present a paper he authored on financing municipal projects with green bonds at the International Municipal Lawyers Association’s (IMLA) 2019 Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on September 20th.

Gregory’s presentation will describe how cities can tap into new low-carbon financial markets to finance environmentally beneficial projects. It will also highlight certain securities law considerations that apply to green bond offering documents and will include practice tips for drafting official statements in green bond transactions.

Gregory practices in the areas of public finance, planning and development, and construction law. He regularly presents on public finance matters and recently wrote “Green Bonds and Local Infrastructure Projects” for Thomson Reuters Practical Law, State & Local Practice Notes.

Gregory received his J.D. from Temple University and his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
